The Uncoolhunter, crée par l’argentin Javier Lourenco est un blog qui se charge de « sauver la pas-coolitude ». Crée en 2006, Javier s ‘est constitué une petite équipe de Uncoolhunters autour de la planète qui observe avec un œil acéré les villes d’un point de vu pas cool. Quand on demande à Javier : « Mais pourquoi le pas cool ? » Javier répond : « Un jour quelqu’un a demandé à Dali, qu’est ce qui est à la mode ? Et celui-ci a répondu « Ce qui n’est pas à la mode » .Le but de the Uncoolhunter est d’observer et de pointer dans la vie de tout les jours, les circuits du ‘ pas cool’, le politiquement incorrect. Leur but étant de mettre en avant, cette culture mise de coté pour pointer les modes qui en émergent. Comme vous l’aurez compris, La Gazette du Mauvais Gout et the Uncoolhunter vivent sur la même planète. On est même voisins, à la différence que j’écris en Français/Anglais et que Javier écrit en Espagnol/Anglais. Au lieu d’être le genre de voisins qui se détestent, on a décidé d’être de bon voisins. A la place de la concurrence, nous avons choisi l’alliance ! The Uncoolhunter vient de me proposer un partenariat, et bien entendu, je l’ai accepté avec joie. Ne vous étonnez donc pas, si désormais vous lisez un de mes articles sur the Uncoolhunter.com , ou si certains de leur articles apparaissent sur la Gazette . The Uncoolhunter, created by the Argentinean Javier Lourenco is a blog who want to save the uncoolness. Created in 2006, Javier created a little team of Uncool hunters all around the world who are looking at cities with sharp eyes from an uncool point of view. When you ask Javier: “Why uncool?” Javier answer: "One day someone asked Dali what is fashionable? “And Dali said:” What is out of fashion”. The goal of the Uncoolhunter is to observe everyday life and to point out the uncool circuits, the anti-hegemonic culture. They want to make this off culture known because it is left aside by what it seems to be emergent. Well, I guess, you already understood that La Gazette du Mauvais Gout and the Uncoolhunter are living on the same planet. We are even neighbors, the difference is that La Gazette du Mauvais Gout is in French and English and the Uncoolhunter is in Spanish and English. Instead of being the kind of neighbors that hate each others, we decided to be good neighbors. No contest here, but the birth of an alliance!
